What it changes
A considered finish, down to the edges.
Walls, ceilings, doors, and trim influence how finished the garage feels. We plan their colors and finishes together, with careful preparation and products suited to the condition and use of each surface.

The decisions that shape the result.
Prepare each surface appropriately
Drywall, masonry, wood, metal, and insulation surfaces have different requirements. We identify what will be painted, assess its condition, and explain the repairs and preparation needed for a consistent finish.
Review color in the room
Daylight from the garage doors, fixture placement, and cabinet finishes all affect how paint appears. We consider samples and sheen alongside those elements so the finished surfaces feel coordinated.
Plan the edges and transitions
Tracks, brackets, outlets, pipes, trim, and storage make garage painting detailed work. We plan what needs protection or temporary removal, and how the finish meets each surrounding element.

Protect and prepare
Make the work areas accessible, protect the elements that are staying, and prepare each surface for its finish.

Review the details

After Installation
Gentle cleaning and a record of the color and sheen make the finish easier to maintain. We explain when the paint is ready for cleaning and can help coordinate touch-ups as the room changes.
Garage Zen project · In practice
Finished surfaces, down to the details.

Repairs and painting renewed the walls and ceiling as part of this seasonal homeowner’s project. Attention to the less prominent surfaces and transitions gave the new flooring and storage a consistent setting.

Details before you decide.
Are the ceiling, doors, and baseboards included?
They can be. We walk through the surfaces with you and list the ones included in the proposal, along with their preparation and finish. That makes it clear what will be painted and what will stay as it is.
Should we paint before or after the storage is installed?
Usually before, while the walls and ceiling are easy to reach. If existing storage is staying, we plan how to work around it or temporarily move it. Painting is coordinated with flooring and installation to protect the finished surfaces.
Can you paint over stains or damaged drywall?
We first check what caused the stain or damage. Patching, cleaning, and priming may be enough for some areas; leaks or more serious damage need attention before painting. We explain which repairs are included and what needs to be resolved separately.
How is the appropriate paint sheen selected?
It depends on the surface, the light, and how easily it needs to clean. Doors and trim may benefit from a different finish than walls or ceilings. We consider those differences with you instead of choosing one sheen for everything.
Do we need to match the interior of the house exactly?
No. We can draw from the home’s colors without repeating them exactly. The garage has different light and materials, so we consider the floor, cabinets, and nearby interiors together.
