What it changes
The finish begins with the slab.
A well-finished floor gives the garage a more consistent appearance and makes everyday cleaning easier. Lasting performance begins with the concrete: its condition, the preparation it needs, and the coating system selected for the room.

The decisions that shape the result.
Start with a sound surface
Existing paint, contamination, cracks, and moisture affect how the slab should be prepared. We assess these conditions before recommending a coating. Structural movement or an active water problem needs attention beyond a decorative finish.
Select the complete coating system
Epoxy and polyaspartic materials can serve different roles in a floor coating. We consider the base, decorative layer, and protective finish together, following the selected manufacturer’s preparation and application requirements.
Choose for everyday use
Vehicles, rolling cabinets, and fitness equipment place different demands on the floor. Sunlight near the door, wet shoes, texture, and cleaning preferences also inform the selection. Samples help you see how the finish will work with the rest of the room.
From selection to use
How the work comes together.
Assess the concrete slab
Review the existing surface and agree which floor areas, steps, and vertical edges will be finished.
Prepare the concrete
Remove incompatible finishes, complete agreed repairs, and mechanically prepare the slab for coating.
Apply the finish
Install each layer in sequence, with careful attention to coverage, edges, and transitions.
Return the room to use
Explain the curing requirements and when foot traffic, stored belongings, and vehicles can return.
After Installation
Remove grit regularly and clean up spills promptly using products suited to the finish. We explain everyday cleaning at the walkthrough and can recommend a more thorough clean when the garage needs a reset.
Garage Zen project · In practice
A continuous foundation beneath a busy room.

The floor supports a workshop used for tools, equipment, and family storage. Its visual consistency lets the working contents remain visible without making the room feel unfinished.

Details before you decide.
Can a new coating be applied over existing floor paint?
We check the existing paint before recommending a coating. Loose, failing, or incompatible material may need to be removed so the new finish has a sound base. The proposal includes the preparation needed for your slab.
Will the coating hide cracks or solve moisture problems?
We assess cracks and signs of moisture before choosing a coating. Surface repairs may be part of the preparation, but active water problems or movement need separate attention. A new finish will not resolve the cause of those problems.
When can the garage return to use?
That depends on the coating and the conditions while it cures. Walking on the floor, returning stored items, and parking vehicles may require different waiting periods. We explain the requirements for your floor and confirm when it is ready for each use.
How do we choose the color and texture?
We look at samples alongside your walls, cabinets, and lighting. Flake size and contrast change the look of the room, while texture affects traction and cleaning. We help you choose a combination that suits both the garage and how you use it.
How is the garage prepared for floor coating?
The floor being coated needs to be clear during preparation and curing. We agree where belongings will go, who moves them, and which essentials you still need to reach. Any offsite storage or disposal is discussed before work begins.
